The company's energy optimization drives the "double-effect" wheels

(Reporter Zhou Minghua) Through the implementation of energy system integration and optimization technical solutions, Jinxi Petrochemical's energy consumption in the first five months of 2014 continued to decline, continuously setting a single-month energy consumption history* record, achieving a win-win situation for economic and environmental benefits.


    From January to May this year, the company's comprehensive energy consumption* was controlled below 70 kg standard oil/ton, and in May it reached a historical record of 60.68 kg standard oil/ton. The comprehensive energy consumption achieved "five consecutive declines". The consumption of natural gas fuel was reduced by 12.27 million standard cubic meters compared with the same period last year, which increased efficiency by 33.86 million yuan and reduced 23,100 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. This is only the effect produced after the implementation of part of the energy system integration optimization plan.  


   Whether the internal energy consumption of the equipment is reasonable and whether the heat integration between the equipment is sufficient... In the past two years, Jinxi Petrochemical Company has continuously innovated ideas, gathered wisdom and thought deeply around energy consumption propositions. Energy saving and consumption reduction should not only focus on the status quo, but only optimize a few devices with high energy consumption. Long-term considerations must be made, top-level design, and system integration optimization must be done.   In October 2012, Tian Na, an employee of the coking workshop, discovered that there were a few new faces in the workshop, and they looked through the DCS screen to record a large number of production and operation data. It turned out that this was a domestic energy optimization expert invited by the company to collect basic data for laboratory simulation. Scientific research experts will conduct a scientific analysis of more than 30 sets of devices and systems to find out the company's production and energy use.

    


    In 2013, after nearly half a year of data collection and simulation analysis, the energy optimization team members and energy optimization experts of Jinxi Petrochemical put forward the total energy plan, the heat feed and heat combination between the equipment, the internal energy optimization of the equipment, and the low temperature of the whole plant. A series of technical solutions such as the utilization of large-scale waste heat system and the optimization of steam system operation have completed the research and development of energy modeling integration and optimization of 30 sets of devices, systems, thermal power plants, and living quarters of the company.  To do a good job in energy system optimization for the system, the production and operation department conducts process simulations on the operation of each device, and constantly revises and improves the energy-saving transformation plan. During the overhaul of the equipment in 2013, Jinxi Petrochemical successively implemented the energy-saving technology transformation of the heating furnace, the optimization of the heat exchange network of the South Distillation and the coking, the first top oil and gas of the South Distillation were changed to heat exchange with crude oil, and the heat source of the stripping tower of the coking device according to the preferred plan. A series of optimization projects such as changing wax oil to diesel.   The optimized plant started soon, 8 sets of refining plants including heavy oil catalysis, gas fractionation, gasoline hydrogenation and 3 sets of chemical plants including continuous reforming, coke calcining, and aromatics extraction. Compared with the same period last year, the energy consumption of the plant was significantly reduced. Among the 27 heating furnaces, 22 have a thermal efficiency of more than 90%, and 16 heating furnaces have exhaust gas temperatures of 140 degrees Celsius. The overall operation level of the heating furnaces has been improved. The steam system ensures that low-pressure steam is not emptied on the premise of balancing the consumption of the whole plant, and the steam energy consumption is 5.25 kg standard oil/ton lower than last year. "The final heat exchange temperature of the topping oil of the original device is 292 degrees Celsius, and it has reached 310 degrees Celsius at the current *. It has never achieved such a good effect. It saves fuel and money and is environmentally friendly." On May 30, the production team leader of the South Distillation Plant Liu Ning said.

  


    "The burner using flue gas recirculation technology reduces the flame* temperature and oxygen-lean combustion, reduces the production of nitrogen oxides, and makes the value of nitrogen oxides far below the national standard value. Optimization also produces good environmental protection.
